Audio Support For Electrician Beginner Workbook
Lectures Online
There are audio lectures for many assignments in the Electrician Beginner
Workbook. The computer you use for this
instructional program must have a Real Audio program so you can hear the lectures.
You can determine if you have this by doing the following:
Make sure you have speakers connected to the computer. Or headphones if you
are in the library. Make sure the volume is turned up. Now for the test. Click HERE.
If you hear the lecture, great. If you do not hear an audio message after a
minute or so, download the Real Audio Program.
How to get the program:
I will give you the link to the Real Audio site where you can get the download.
Here is the link for the page where you can get the download. Click HERE.
If you do not want to bother getting this sort of message, do not download the
program. Instead, go to the nearest office supply store and buy a Real Player
disc for about $19.99. Load it and you are ready. Just follow the directions
when you are prompted. Don't be afraid. It is painless and is essential. Let
someone help you if this is difficult for you. Most 12 year olds can do this. I had help
the first time. Once it is installed, you will never need to do it again until
you get a different computer.
Notice that the Real Audio window has a pause button you can click. Also there
is a sliding bar that can be dragged back if you want to repeat something. Play
around with it. Here is a musical link just for fun. Click it:
Play with the pause button and sliding scale for a repeat or fast forward.
Neat, eh?

When you find a topic which you would like to hear a lecture about, simply
click the appropriate page number. If the number is in color and underlined,
there is a hyperlink to that page. Not all pages have audio support. After a
minute the audio should play on your computer. If you can not hear the sound,
check your speaker volume and mute button.
