Computer Skills Needed

Here is a list of the computer skills needed to participate in the courses which I instruct. If you feel learning these skills is beyond your capability, then the electrical content or my courses will certainly be beyond your capability You should ask for a refund before you begin the course. 

It is the Twenty-First Century, after all. So it is time to enter the computer age.

Let your spouse, children, or neighbors help you with any aspect of this list which is unknown to you.

Turn on the computer and log on to your internet service provider.

Enter an address in the URL address box at the top of the page.

Click on a link to read or hear the material contained there in.

Maximize and minimize a screen.

Adjust the volume and use the mute button.

Use your back button to return to a previous page.

Set a short cut on your desktop or select a favorite for your favorites list.

Print a page on the screen.

Open your email account to access emails. 

Send an email.

Print an email.

Search with a search engine like http://www.google.com 

That should just about do it. Have fun.
